I'll be the first to admit, it feels great to have an imprint design... A stamp that signifies your work. My friend and work partner, Mack, went on sabbatical in China when he found an elderly engraver to do this. Since many people in Asia sign alot of their documents in stamp pads ( The family name is better than actually writing... Well, unless you're a master calligrapher, but I digress...), the engraver set about designing an original stamp that depicts the Blackwell name.I think it kicks-ass ( what a great gift!), and as a result, I've committed the stamp to my absolute best work, as well as a few first conceptuals, to commemorate it.
