Samurai Swag
PLANET GRIFFIN continues on with a design that I ran across earlier. As a film geek, I couldn't resist this--- New design swag from PAUL POPE!
Paul's latest print is from the 1961 AKIRA KUROSAWA classic, YOJIMBO, featuring the legendary TOSHIRO MIFUNE.
(The kanji type in the center reads 'Yojimbo'; the type along the bottom is' Mifune Toshiro' and his birth and death dates)
The designs are currently selling through Nakatomi, and they have almost sold out already! Track'em down here

Somebody tell Paul, I want my "THB"
I like Paul's own stories probably more than I like his art now. Nowadays, I just seem too only see more of the latter.
Ho Hum...
pope's mustard...
i really liked that joint Batman 100 he did a couple years ago...
Actually, I would love to see a FULL Pope tale myself! Batman 100 was cool, but lately, I too have noticed more 'random works' than major stories... I wish THB would come back so I can find out what happened next... A five year cliffhanger IS NOT COOL, MAN!
Hmmm... Paul Pope's Yojimbo does have a nice ring to it...
Was this just a promotional poster he did? Or was it actually from a comic?
Promotional... Screen print, I think.
